The C2 TASER® Is Gaining In Popularity

The C2 TASER is gaining popularity as a personal protective device - and for good reason. Violent crime can strike anyone, in any neighborhood, and at any time. Being able to defend oneself from a violent attack long enough to escape and call the police can mean the difference between life and death in some cases. Many citizens are concerned for their safety but do not know what defensive weapon to carry. Firearms are strictly regulated in many states and some people simply are not comfortable with the lethal force effect of using a firearm against an attacker.
TASER energy weapons provide an effective alternative to firearms and sprays for self-defense. C2 TASER weapons are more effective than sprays and less lethal than firearms. In fact, TASER weapons are designed to completely incapacitate an attacker but not to kill them. The ease of use of a TASER energy weapon, along with the built-in safety features, also makes it an attractive option for many people. A C2 TASER energy weapon is successful in 95% of cases where police officers use it to subdue a criminal. These devices are also far less likely to injure any innocent people nearby.
While some electronic control devices require the user to actually touch the attacker with the device the C2 can be used from up to 15 feet away. This is because the C2 TASER fires two small darts that are connected to the device with insulated wires. The TASER will then deliver an electric shock to incapacitate the attackers neuromuscular system for up to 30 seconds allowing the user vital time to escape from the situation.
In an effort to protect law-abiding citizens from the misuse of TASER devices the company has developed an Anti-Felon ID system. The C2 will not work without an ID card inserted into the weapon. Obtaining an AFID card requires a criminal background check. Each cartridge is also then packed with bar-coded chips that identify the unique serial number of the cartridge. In this way law enforcement personnel can track the discharged cartridge back to the original purchaser. This system is designed to reduce the chances of criminals obtaining or using a TASER electronic control device.
